The hotel has been renovated, the rooms are decent and the pool is nice, but damp floors and moldy / musty smell is present in the rooms. Fragrance would go a long way.
On Sunday morning July 13th we went down for breakfast and we were looking forward to having pancakes. It was not working and the kitchen staff member Peggy was working diligently to get it working. I thanked her and went about getting other items for breakfast. About 5 minutes later I got a tap on my shoulder and there was Peggy with a plate of pancakes for me. Such a pleasant surprise and outstanding customer service. THANK YOU PEGGY.
Clean quiet nice rooms. Staff were super friendly. A great place for a weekend getaway!
The service was great and so was the room. Just a couple of things to fix to make it a perfect 5 stars. The shower bottom needs a remake mine had a stain on it and some scratches and maybe a slight crack. Also maybe a small corner shelf in shower for someone to put stuff on that they use in case they can’t use yours. I know it was thanksgiving but it would have been nice for someone to check the room to make sure I didn’t need more coffee or tea for that night and the next morning. Other than that everything else was great. Will be back around Christmas.
Just happened to come across this motel while traveling up the east coast on vacation. Two night stay. We couldn’t have been more satisfied. Upscale continental breakfast, clean rooms and lobby, and staff were extremely nice and helped. Reasonable rates as well. Best motels experience in a long time.
Rihanna at Holiday Inn Express set the gold standard in guest service. Warm, compassionate, and incredibly professional—her care made check-in feel like coming home. I was so impressed I immediately enrolled in IHG Rewards to complement my Hilton Honors. Exceptional service like hers deserves serious recognition. Total class! Today Samantha was equally hospitable, courteous & kind! Hotel needs some TLC, but its location -ESP- in peak season, is paramount. No traffic & in Brunswick in 10-min… Will be back! ~LtCV
Yva helped me at check in beautiful smile and very calm demeanor. I hate to admit this , but this is the cleanest holiday inn that I've stay at in a while i'm not saying that the others were dirty.I'm just saying that this one was over the top clean. Which brings me to Ms Nicole who greeted me with a smile and welcomed me to breakfast. She was very friendly and helpful to all guests she was even very helpful. To the other staff and front desk again, she had a beautiful smile and very calm demeanor. I appreciate. All the staff's hard work at this location. I look forward to spending more business trips.here
This was our second time visiting this location. The room had an odor. The room was spacious and had the amenities that we needed. The bed was hard. The breakfast was okay. They did have complimentary cookies in the lobby. The cookies were really tasty. Overall our stay was fine. The staff was friendly. We had trouble with our tv. They handled the problem promptly. The maintenance man was so friendly.
